IOTA PHI aka Ilia Darlin is an award winning music video director, singer, songwriter, composer and record producer.Inspired by ideas of identity, post humanism and Greek mythology, her sound effortlessly brings together a swirling mix of Alternative Electronic, Pop and R&B in a truly original and elegant Art-Pop package.
Having enjoyed major support from the likes of Vogue, Spin, Popjustice, Earmilk and Videostatic, IOTA PHI’s debut EP Kloudland, which featured Daniel Heath (Lana Del Rey – Blue Jeans, Ultraviolence…) set the tone for her upcoming album ‘Homo Pauperis’, an entirely self-produced album with the help of Mikael Delta (Stereo Nova).
Ilia’s first studio work released by EMI, topped the Greek charts and was licensed in 21 countries.
After her performance at Pop-Kultur in Berlin being 6 months pregnant to her son Phoenix, IOTA PHI got mentioned at Musik Express, Spiegel, earned radio play on Radio1 and has since been selected by #INES talent for a number of appearances in 2021.

The project is an attempt to decipher and embrace chaos, drawing ispiration from Greek mythology and cosmos. A cinematic dark soundscape with heavily layered electronic sounds married with traditional instruments like the santour.
As if Homer, Sebastian Bach, James Blake and Terence McKenna met on a rainy shore in an abandoned house and had some wine under the influence of magic mushrooms.
“We would lock ourselves in the studio in the middle of a valley, living out of 1euro packed couscous from Lidl and the only time we would see the light of the day was when we walked to see Es Vedrà, the island of the Sirens. It’s where we realized we were not meant to be the focus, merely the medium.”
