Glass Rebel is a New Wave/Rock/Synth project from Athens, Greece whose discography is based on collaborations with special artists.

The band was formed in the Summer of 2016 when their debut digital electro/pop single ‘Trees’ was released sharing vocals with the female electro duet of Marsheaux. The radio-friendly track was recognized by many European blogs and the record attracted airplay from several radio stations as well as the Synth/New Wave Sci-Fi theme ‘Suntan’. During the same month, the debut special edition 7” Vinyl ‘Trees / Suntan’, released by UNDO/EMI Records and distributed in Europe by Italian Audioglobe, was sold out within the first week of its release.

In June of 2017, the second double A-Side 7” Vinyl was released including the Disco/New Wave ‘Cancer’ and the lucid Synth/Pop ‘Flaw in Love’ featuring singer-songwriter Etten. Both singles were rapidly loved by many radio producers and audiences around Greece.

In 2018 the mixed animation & live footage, grotesque official video for ‘Cancer’ made it onto many Youtube lists, mostly in Italy. Having sold out both vinyl releases, the band released ‘Trees’ digitally, remixed by Dance-Electro artist Melorman and ‘Cancer’, remixed by the MC Jeff Gonzales (Aka BnC).

In 2019 the third special edition 7” Vinyl ‘Albenga / Time Loss’ which features Berlin-based singer Sarah P. was released by Amour Records. Both singles appealed to radio stations and in November 2019, Glass Rebel was hosted by En Lefko FM as ‘Artist of the Month’.

The band is currently completing studio sessions for their upcoming release.
